The Merrimack Valley Montessori School was established in 1984 and continues to serve the educational and social needs of children ages 2.9 to 6 years old. Conveniently situated close to Interstate 93 and the towns of Salem, Windham and Pelham, we offer a truly developmental approach to teaching pre-school and kindergarten children. All our teachers are trained by the American Montessori Society (AMS) and firmly believe that the Montessori approach is the most effective and joyous way to educate children. In keeping with the Montessori philosophy, we offer six multi-age classes, with low staff-to-student ratios and individualized education for all students. In order to concentrate our efforts on providing the optimum environment for children to learn, we are unfortunately unable to offer day-care facilities.
